This painting explores the unusual conversations that seem to occur at the seaside between the past and the present, the industrial and inflatable, the carefree and moored. I wanted to suggest erosion against freshly painted and the visual language of pools, chalets and pier edges.

Once your order is received I will sign the painting and seal with a layer of gloss gel medium. I then polish the surface to create a rich, gentle sheen like a soft pebble. Please allow 7 days for delivery or contact me at nicolabeattieart@gmail.com so that I can ship earlier.
