This painting is a study of sea colours against gentle greys, taupes and a flurry of sea foam. I manipulated the paint with a trowel, pulling the colours together to suggest sand lacquered with water, reflections, rock pools and giant rocks eroded from cliffs. It is a collage of experiences, places and fragments of the imaginary.

Once your order is received I will sign the painting and seal with a layer of gloss gel medium. I then polish the surface to create a rich, gentle sheen like a soft pebble. Please allow 7 days for delivery or contact me at nicolabeattieart@gmail.com so that I can ship earlier.
