This painting is about the incidental things which are noticed out of the corner of the eye or are experienced more as punctuation of a vast and theatrical place.

I enjoyed the emergence of this big, sculptural block, adorned with a robe of sea antiquities, seaweed, shells as the main character with the gentle, lapping tide in the background.
