This painting is composed in various shades of purple, with accents of pink, orange and brown.

Multiple glazes create a lustre remiscent of the shiny, often translucent quality of candies and boiled sweets. Shapes layered beneath this surface seem to exist in a dreamlike landscape. As a solid form with fluidity, the icecream is a motif itself of the intersection between reality and fantasy. The abstracted, wobbly, naive icecreams suggest the improvisation and joy of play.
