Made with a limited palette of cadmium red, cadmium yellow and black and white in my series “Colour Theory”, which explores the contrast of saturated colour against neutrals. Shell pink, gold honey, wax candles, deniers of taupe and chiffon began to veil the bright reds until a story formed of lotions and creams, vintage Avon pots and a cabinet of sensual promise.
